These are the six different covers for i-D’s ‘The Pick Me Up’ issue. Top row left: Gisele, photographed by Emma Summerton, is her usual natural sexy self, and to the right rapper Kreayshawn, photographed by George Harvey, is more edgy with the killer eyelash, in the busiest and brightest cover of them all. Next row, Natasha Poly, by Willy Vanderperre, is my favourite: it’s clean and stylised but with a hint of archness. Then Raquel Zimmermann does charming curly haired innocent in sexy studded pvc, photographed by Josh Olins. Last row, Riley Keough by Matt Jones is reminiscent of some of Tom Ford’s sensual adverts for Gucci, and finally Lindsey Wixson, with her trademark gap teeth, gets sticky sweet in a typical Terry Richardson shot, although this is neither my favourite photographer nor my favourite model.
